One school of thought is not to overanalyze the issues and stresses of life, taking the TIME to change a situation. Instead, Take SPACE to change a situation. We’re talking about Time Versus Space.
When we take the SPACE to change a situation… we are applying a sacred space that has been filled with qualities and essential energies to SURROUND our consciousness all the way down to the cells of our body. When we utilize SPACE to change our situations, habits, stresses… we empower drastic changes in our neurology, biology as well as our psychology. How do we use Space to change our situations/habits/stresses in life? It happens in 2 simple steps. They are the in-breath and the out-breath of our lives!
1. Name your Situation/Habit/Stress. Once you put a name to it, identify what it has been feeling like. When you create your new space in the next step, it will NOT include the energy/feeling of the situation/habit/stress that needs changed. In fact, the new energetic essence and quality would include a vibrational nuance that is on a better-feeling vibrational rate than what is sensed when you are in the thick of your situation/habit/stress.
Sometimes I find I am not ready to move forward to step #2. I’m stuck in the Naming of my space. What I am saying is: I want to move forward in creating a new reality. But, I cannot stop the HABIT of feeling the junky energy that makes me cranky and life not flow with ease. In this case, MEDITATION is key. I sit with it. Yes, I put on my 5 minute timer and allow myself to meditate with the emotion. I simply notice my body and how it breathes in and out as I feel what I feel. I’m not trying to create new energy within the space I reside in at this point… I’m simply allowing myself to be aware of what I am feeling. Sometimes we are simply not ready. And not being ready is okay. That’s part of processing. When you are ready, go on to the next step.
2. Get busy making space. Once we are clear of the energy of the space we were residing in with our situations/habits/stresses that need a shift… we can engage our creativity by altering the invisible forcefield of feeling that we reside in. We can empower our inner realm [the invisible forcefield of feeling] by taking inspired actions that empower the feelings we choose. For example, if the space you want to create is youthful and light-hearted… and taking the time to enjoy afternoon tea by the river feels youthful and light-hearted… then every time you do this inspired action, you are busy Creating your Space.
When I find I am not taking inspired action… usually it is due to the fact I have not decided upon what action to take. If you are in this same boat, I have found the more time I sit in MEDITATION with the energies I currently am in [read the paragraph under step #1]… I am redefining which actions I could take that are in alignment with the energy I would like to exist in. Sometimes knowing the energies you DON’T want to exist in help us to identify the Space we DO want to exist in.
Dr. Bruce Lipton is an amazing cellular biologist and world leader in Neuroscience, specifically in the area of EpiGenetics as well as Psychoneuroimmunology. He often shares how the space we create and live in is what communicates with our genes to express in specific ways… whether it be for our regeneration + healing, degeneration or generation. According to Dr. Lipton, we have more freedom here to create new realities in our lives and world simply through changing the energies in our Space and aligning them with our new intentions, than what people have thought in the recent past… and still erroneously teach today. Dr. Joe Dispenza is another amazing Neuroscientist who explains the scientific reason why we have this amazing power to create space and transform our brain, body and reality in the process! Watch this amazing talk with Dr. Dispenza here.
Both of the videos I have shared were made possible by an amazing woman named Colette Baron Reid. She is an Intuitive, Author and Teacher. I am currently reading her book called The Map. I’m sharing it because it’s a fabulous read + would be a benefit to anyone wanting to engage in the magic of Creativity to transform your space/situations/habits and ultimately, lives.
As a part of making SPACE, I take inspired actions that support and uplift my Spirit [the feelings of the energetic forcefield I exist within]. This energetic forcefield vibrates with high energy when I make delicious meals for the family, create fun pieces of art [like this diy hair bow I made the other day] or when I enjoy fabulous vitamin/energy-rich foods such as my green smoothies.
What Inspired Action do you do to bolster your invisible forcefield and Spirit? How do you contribute to the creation of Your Space?
