This is an ESSENTIAL PART of Loving Yourself. Remember, we must LOVE ourself. We must also LOVE our Neighbors as we LOVE ourself.
Self hatred is simply hating the thoughts you have about YOU. And you don’t want to hate yourself because of the thoughts you have about you! You gently want to CHANGE your thinking. That’s all.
Louise Hay goes on to say: You ARE worth loving. All of us are. We do not have to EARN Love. Really. You don’t have to earn the right to breathe. You have the right to breathe fully because you exist. You have the right to be LOVED because you EXIST. We are lovable because we exist. EVERY THOUGHT WE THINK is an affirmation. Our WORDS and THOUGHTS are shaping our experiences.
POSITIVE STATEMENTS about YOU can elimate something from your life or create something new in your life. DEFINITE POSITIVE STATEMENTS that BUILD you up rather than BEATING you up or thinking well of yourself… these are acts of kindness to your Mind that pays enormous dividends.
Learn the difference between RESPONSIBILITY and BLAME.
Don’t get into this: I’m having a bad experience, therefore I’m a bad person thing.
RESPONSIBILITY is making a CONSCIOUS choice to how you will RESPOND to a sitaution or idea. What sort of thoughts will you choose? How can you learn or what can you flearn from this experience?
People who have been diagnosed with terminal illness, and defy the odds against them all share something: They don’t blame themselves for where they are at. They ACCEPT responsibility. Blame creates GUILT which seeks PUNISHMENT that creates PAIN. Being KIND means stopping all guilt, all punishment and all pain.
RELAX. It’s a kindness you can give to yourself.
RELAXATION is ESSENTIAL for the healing process.
It’s hard to allow the healing energies within us when we are shut off or frightened.
A few minutes a day of deep breaths and releasing any tension we are carrying is so important. Just exhale after a deep breath and let fo. Release all fear, tension, and onve more take a deep breath. As you exhale, let yourself be centered.
Say to yourself silently: I LOVE YOU, ALL IS WELL.
And notice how much easier your body is for the moment.
doing this several times a day, you are telling the body, you don’t have to go through life tense and frightened. you can relax and take care of yourself.
