Today’s Inspired Action: comes from SHERO Louise Hay.
As we talked about earlier, criticism breaks down the inner spirit. And it is through the Spirit which all things all accomplished. The Spirit is our battery. When we criticize ourselves instead of building our self up… we get drained of energy | life force.
PRAISE builds the LIFE within us, up… up… up!
Tell yourself what you are doing good. Remind yourself that you are made in the divine nature of Source. You deserve to be built up because you are ALIVE in Source; right here, right now.
Louise goes on to say: “DESERVING has nothing to do with having good. It’s our UNWILLINGNESS to accept good in our lives.”
ALLOW yourself to ACCEPT GOOD in your life whether you think you DESERVE it or not. You DO deserve it because you are ALIVE.
So WHAT is it you FEEL you deserve? Start from there.
Do you deserve nothing,? Do you deserve all joy and all good. WHY? Where did this message come from?
What different message are you willing to put there?
Louise says “When we have become aware of creating some negative effects in our life:
Whatever it is is only a THOUGHT and a THOUGHT can be changed!”
What is it you WANT that you are not now having?
What were the laws of derving in your own home; growing up? Were you told you deserve a good smack? Did you parents feel they deserved good things? Did you always have to EARN in order to DESERVE?
Were things taken away when you were a child?
Do you feel good enough, smart enough, pretty enough?
Do you believe, there’s not enough money, I’m not ready yet?
What are the beliefs in the way of your DESERVING?|
What is the PURPOSE of your life?
What do you LIVE FOR? What is your purpose? What are you willing to do to EXPERIENCE the good you really deserve?
How much mental effort are you willing to give in order to change your life?
Thanks Louise, that’s a lot to think about! And as I do agree we must praise ourself… I also believe it is totally important to Praise the SOURCE within us and all things. Wherever Source is, such is holy to me.
When I grew up in the ministry, we had “Praise and Worship”. Being a musician, I was heavily involved in this part of church. I loved singing about Source and worshipping with gratitude and a thankful heart. Some of my favorite times were in keen surrender and observation|instruction of the Holy Spirit. This is still one of the best ways I spend my free time.
