Colors often times have many emotions attached to them. Today’s Inspired Action: Through using paint chips, create a collage, or simply paint with different color paints to create a larger image of color variation in your creative journal.
The idea is this: Emotions aren’t necessarily designed to be experienced through the rational mind all the time. Sometimes, if we become too rational minded… it gets more difficult to loosen up and lit=berate the emotions. So instead, we activate our non-linear mind and simply exercise the emotion through the creation of a work of art. For this example, you would use colors [as they have lots of emotions attached] and work with it until the image feels just right. Or maybe it doesn’t feel just right after you make it the first time. But you can always paint over it… or rearrange the paint chips.
Art, for the sake of expressing emotions can be the healthiest thing in the world!
